Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the concept of green economy in Kembangbelor Village in order to support sustainable development and examine its relevance to the values of fiqh al-bi'ah in Islam. Through case studies on two leading tourist destinations—Wanawisata Bernah De Vallei and Klurak Eco Park. This study found that the implementation of the green economy is carried out comprehensively through three main pillars: low carbon, resource efficient, and socially inclusive. Each pillar is implemented through real strategies such as 3R waste management, energy and water efficiency, ecotourism-based nature conservation, and participatory community empowerment. The integration of fiqh al-bi'ah values strengthens the theological foundation of green economy practice, where environmental protection (ḥifẓ al-bi'ah) is a manifestation of maqāṣid al-syarī'ah. The five main objectives of sharia (ḥifẓ al-dīn, ḥifẓ al-nafs, ḥifẓ al-'aql, ḥifẓ al-nasl, and ifẓ al-mā l) are implemented substantially in various aspects of village development programs. The results of the study show that the integration of the concept of green economy and Islamic values is able to produce significant social, economic, and ecological impacts and contribute to the realization of holistic and equitable sustainable development.
